UMD Undergraduates
If you want to work with us on a research project, please keep in mind of the following requirements:
- A commitment to work for at least 6 hours per week (except midterms and finals weeks) for at least one entire semester
- Meet weekly to report and discuss research progress
- Be willing to work with other undergraduate students and potentially Ph.D. students as a team
UMD provides the opportunity to get course credits doing research work. You can register for CMSC298A, CMSC498A, or CMSC499A to get course credits. If you would like to get course credits, please make sure the following conditions are met:
- You have worked with Dr. Liu for at least one semester before
- You do not register under the pass-fail option
- You will register for at least two credits
